Schedule of Events at the National AGM 24 and 25 November 2007

To clarify events which are planned with approximate timings at the DSWA National AGM hosted by the South Yorkshire Branch at Wentworth Castle:

Sat 24 Nov 12:00 Visit to the National Coal Mining Museum - a chance to see dry stone walling underground!

Sat 24 Nov 16:00 The DSWA AGM

Sat 24 Nov 17:00 A display and chat from Malcom Debenham and a chance to see his brilliant stone miniature models

Sat 24 Nov 1900 for 19:30 The Annual DSWA Dinner

Sat 24 Nov 21:30 After dinner speaker - Mr Ian Clayton presenter of YTV's My Yorkshire, broadcaster, writer, poet, musician and really nice chap

Sat 24 Nov 22:00 until late Dancing to the brilliant OFB Band

Sun 25 Nov 10:30ish a visit to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park and a chance to see some of our members work on the Andy Goldsworthy exhibition - a must for any dry stone waller.

  1. That the Minutes of the Annual General Meeting held 17th October 2006 be accepted

  1. That the Annual Report from the Chairman be accepted

  1. That the Financial report for the year, ending 31st August 2007 be accepted

  1. Election of Chairman for 2007/8

  1. Election of Vice-Chairman for 2007/8

  1. Election of Secretary for 2007/8

  1. Election of Treasurer for 2007/8

  1. Election of Committee Members (maximum 14) for 2007/8

  1. Election of The Management Committee Representative for 2007/8

  1. To appoint an Independent Assessor of the accounts for 2007/8

  1. Any other competent business which is allowed to be discussed at any AGM,
